Blogger tells me I've been writing this AmyLocks blog since 2014. That's shocking to me—and, honestly, a little misleading. While I've always wanted a place to share my thoughts and ideas, to find friends and people who believe in the same things I do, I haven't always made much time for it. There have been months and months when I haven't thought about writing, much less posting anything.

But here I am again, called back to this place by the openness, the blank pages waiting to be filled.

Here we'll talk about faith, family, marriage, home, growing older, ordinary work, and the beautiful—and sometimes messy—business of loving people well.

I'm working on being more consistent, and I hope you'll join me here often. I want us to learn together how to be the women God created us to be, how to love the families we've been blessed with, and how to care for the homes we've been gifted.

I don't know how to do all of that yet. I'm still trying to figure it out. And since I'm 55 now, I have a little time and space to do it.

So pour yourself a cup of tea, wrap yourself in something cozy, and join me.

I can't wait to get to know you.
